Many readers enjoy the blog entries that are "Ongoing posts from diary of Grace, a lady boomer, living her life's adventure in a remote area of the Andes Mountains of Ecuador". Today, I am highlighting that Grace works diligently to save pristine areas of the Rainforest and improve the lives of people living there. Grace is an example of a woman with the courage to just get out there and live in support of her beliefs. she spends her time between her home outside of Toronto and a farm in a remote area of Ecuador. Grace is the Project Administrator for Touch The Jungle in the Intag area of Ecuador.
I believe, strongly, in Grace and the work that she and her friends are doing to save some part of the remaining pristine areas of this earth and help the people living there. I therefore ask you to give her your support.
Touch The Jungle is holding a fundraiser to build a much needed high school in the Intag region of Ecuador. In their struggle to keep out mining and logging, the one thing the community keeps asking for is an education for their kids. This ...we will do by proving them their high school education but also they will learn trades in fields such as organic agriculture & animal husbandry, forestry management, watershed management, to empower the next generation to save their forests and way of live via education. The school will also serve as TTJ's wildlife outreach educational center. Please join us at our online auction and bid on items to help raise funds for this important project! http://touchthejungle.org/auction There are many unique items to bid on!
