It is a quote, as I recall it, from an unknown author that guides my life - " MANS GREATEST SUCCESS IS VICTORY OVER HIMSELF. " Always focused on improving ever aspect of my life, I regularly read books and articles that purport to give principals that will allow you to achieve ....... Today, I stumbled upon an article entitled " 100 Ways to Become More Conscious - How to Raise Your Consciousness." Every suggestion is a good one that I heartily endorse and I recommend that you read them. I suspect that you will find several that are particularly meaningful to you. Take them. Absorb them. Create personal objectives. Having read and enjoyed the article, I am even more aware of the depth of wisdom in my favorite quote "Mans Greatest Success is Victory Over Himself ". Although I appreciate the value of the 100 Ways... , I cannot remember them, even when I select a few upon which to focus. I can recall the need for Victory over Myself. I remind myself, when confronted by daily challenges, to choose: happiness over sadness; action over lethargy, love over hate; kindness over nastiness; interest in learning over ignorance; etc. It is always helpful to realize that I have significant control over how I perceive and react to the world inside and around me. No one else will or can do this for me. No one else can do it for you ! Here is the link to the article listing the 100 ways. I am sure that you will enjoy the reading it. However; I recommend that you internalize the belief that you have great power within you that can open the doors to all that you wish for in personal achievement YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS WILL BE VICTORY OVER YOURSELF.
